End of Summer Vegetarian Family Retreat Aug. 4 - 8, 2010

Come celebrate the last days before school starts in the little piece of paradise we call home.
Get in on some maximum fun, Farm style!
We'll spend the week swimming, hiking, listening to and playing music, enjoying really great food and each others company.
I've designed the week to give you maximum rest and relaxation, with a full complement of adult and kid activities, something for everyone.

We are limiting the registrations to this event to 50 people.

The Farm's Swimmin' Hole will be
a center of daily activities.
It features a sandy beach and
a roped off shallow area for the little ones.
This is a great place to meet and interact with other Farm residents and their families. |

Meals will be served under our dome.
All meals will be vegan, with dairy, snacks and other foods available from The Farm Store.
We'll also have live music from the stage.
Bring an instrument if you'd like to perform.
The dome also has a great collection of
playground equipment for the youngsters.

On Friday we'll hike to Stillhouse Hollow Falls,
located just outside The Farm in Summertown.
This 75 foot falls is now a State Natural Area
thanks to the efforts of Swan Conservation Trust,
The Farm's nonprofit land trust.
We will also take a creek walk into
The Big Swan Headwaters Preserve,
1400 acres owned by Swan Trust
that
surrounds the Farm Community. |
